Reporting to: Head of Research Ireland

My client is an international brand who have an opening for a senior research analyst within their well-respected Research & Consulting function in Dublin, servicing the needs of the business wider business and our extensive client base.

To further strengthen their team, we are seeking a high-calibre professional, who is interested in developing their career within a leading global commercial real estate business.

  • The Research & Consultancy team provide data-led strategic insights to both their clients and internal stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking and progressive analytical team within a leading global real estate consultancy and gain exposure to a wide variety of property-related mandates.

  • The successful candidate will be involved in assisting the team with a variety of tasks, developing clear and insightful qualitative & quantitative analysis on a range of property sectors and projects to guide occupier and investor decision making and underwriting.

  • The role requires an adaptable, forward thinker, able to turn their hand to a range of outputs.

  • The successful candidate will gain immediate exposure to a variety of projects across different commercial property sectors and locations, with a particular emphasis on capital markets, offices and industrial & logistics.

  • They will be expected to use property data intelligently, from both internal and external sources, to produce insightful research outputs and feed directly into publicised research reports, information memorandums and strategic client consultancy related work.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the research team with the compilation and analysis of economic and property market data across various occupier & investment services lines

  • Drafting material for inclusion in various research & consultancy reports

  • Updating presentation decks and contributing to information memorandums

  • Responding to queries from internal and external clients

  • Using data analysis/visualisation software to assist with designing, developing, and maintaining interactive data outputs

  • Maintaining and updating in house databases and performing periodic data audits

  • Attending meetings, presentations and events with clients’ internal teams and industry stakeholders

Experience preferred –

 

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an economics, analytical, research or consulting role – experience within the commercial real estate OR economic sector in Ireland preferable but not essential. Property sector experience is NOT essential

  • An analytical thinker coupled with the ability to clearly explain my clients’ views and opinions to audiences with varying levels of knowledge of the subject

  • Strong numerical skills including the ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of numerical data (formal quantitative and statistical analysis skills are advantageous but not essential)

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in deliverables is essential

  • Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills are essential

  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experienced in the use of Tableau, Microsoft Power BI or ArcGIS (desirable but not essential as training will be provided)

  • Pro-active approach and eagerness to uphold my client’s data’s accuracy & confidentiality and an ability to meet strict deadlines for delivery

  • Advanced Excel skills – Pivot tables and graph work required.

 

Salary & Benefits

60k – 65k + excellent benefits & blended hybrid working.
